It's completely, and utterly, insanely epic.

3 things
Three main things I learned today:
- Hannah Montana: The Movie was awesome.
- I heart Lucas Till (ish).
- Greek food=yummy.
Today I saw the Hannah Montana movie with 'ttav'. I can honestly say that I really enjoyed watching it. I don't care what anyone says. Regardless if it was predictable or not, the movie was awesome. The songs were catchy, the plot was good, and the acting wasn't bad. Oddly enough, there were a couple of old men watching it too. I guess Miley Cyrus isn't so bad sans Justin Gaston, the religious remarks, racy pictures, etc. I suppose you could say I don't hate her as much after seeing this movie. She did a good job on it. Anyways...For dinner my parents ordered take out at Stepho's. Like always, I ordered the Calamari dinner. We picked it up and parked in front of English Bay and ate in the car. Just my mom, dad, sister, and I. It was the perfect thing. Watching the sunset, the water, all the lights.
A great ending to a perfect day.

Miley Cyrus gets pwnd
Youtube singer Alyssa Bernal sings Miley Cyrus' song "The Climb". I personally prefer this version. I love her videos! Her "Drive my Soul" by Lights cover is really good too. She also looks a hell of a lot like Vanessa Hudgens dontcha think? Kind of freaky.
EDIT 4/10/09: I take that back. I like both versions. Miley just butchers the song when she sings it live. Other than that it's good. :)

JUMPER
How NOT to wear a jumpsuit.
I'm going to go to bed now...Dream happy dreams about Pelayo Diaz and whatnot. Haha.
One last thing. I just realized that blogger had spell check. I accidentally stumbled over it and was like WTF. That would have saved me a lot of time in the past. I can be such a ditz sometimes..

Into the Wild
I watch the movie 'Into the Wild' (from 2007) yesterday after school. I've always seen it being played on Movie Central but never bothered to watch it.
It was possibly one of the weirdest movies I have ever seen but... I loved it. One of my favorites to be honest.
Three things I learned:
- Emile Hirsch is very, very, good looking. Like insanely good looking.
- Kristen Stewart can't sing (but she can play the guitar well).
- No matter what, KStew will always have a bitch face.

Men and Kilts.
Fashion
I think it's kind of obvious who pulled it off better (*cough* Pelayo). I don't think I would want my guy to wear a kilt, but if it was Pelayo I'd definiately make an exception. Isn't he kinda sorta gorgeous?Check out his blog here. I'm probably going to post more on him later. Stay tuned.

This is so wrong
Trend overload alert! Damn, look at those shoes! Nothing says 'BFF' like matching UGG boots. You live in sunny California. Why the fuck would you need to wear UGGs? If the weather requires you to put on sunglasses, I don't think it would require you to put on a pair of shoes suited for cold/winter weather too.
UGGs in L.A. (or any hot place) I will never understand....
Photo of Samantha Droke and Ashley Tisdale. Credit to OceanUp. (Question: Why have they been hanging out so much?)
I'm in planning class right now. Will post more later.

Michael Angarano♥
So Michael was spotted in Vancouver this past weekend to (unfortunately) visit his girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

Aww they're wearing matching leather jackets and holding hands. Give me a moment while I throw up.
I've been eyeing the first 2 pics and can't figure out where the heck it was taken. I'm pretty sure the 3rd one was taken near The Keg, the street across Joe Fortes. Looks like Nikki Reed has a case of being the third wheel. I would have loved to be there and meet them but to tell you the truth, Michael looks very unapproachable. I'd probaly end up just staring as they walked by. And this being 1/3 a fashion blog I can't help but comment on their choice of clothing. This (3rd pic) ladies and gentlemen is NOT how to wear a leather/motorcycle jacket. This is also NOT how you cuff your jeans. Sure I'd expect that from KStew but I thought Nikki would have more style than that. They should invest in some new (nicer) shoes too. Michael's outfit has potential. The jeans need to be tighter, the jacket more fitted, maybe throw on a vest or cardigan? Shaving wouldn't hurt either. Overall the outfits had potential. They just weren't executed properly. =)

E.W. + J.S.

How cute are they? Gossip Girl stars Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr were spotted walking around NYC today. They sure aren't afraid to show some PDA. Normally I'm not too big on the whole fedora situation, but it works for her.

Fashion fix of the day: Elizabeth and James Spring 2009
So Mary-Kate and Ashley's line Elizabeth and James has revealed their Spring 2009 collection. In my opinion the collection isn't anything too special. It consists of some great blazers as well as a few cute dress. It's comfy and casual but still manages to be fashion forward. The above crappy collages I pulled together are a few of the clothing and jewelry pieces that I really liked. The only thing I'll probably be able to afford is the brass ring on the far right ($95.00). I wish they would make an affordable line kind of like Sarah Jessica Parker's "Bitten" or Amanda Bynes' "Dear". I remember buying a ton of suff from their children's line at Walmart. I still have this pink tweed blazer that I bought back in grade 6 or 7. I never did wear it...

Reason #99 "Why I Hate Kristen Stewart"
Beautiful ain't she?
Kristen is also featured on the March 2009 cover of Nylon Magazine. Yet again she finds some way to make me hate her even more in the interiew:
On the Twilight Mania: "Anywhere we'd go for Twilight was a psychotic situation. The sound was deafening, and it's thoughtless, as well..You get a slew of all these bullshit questions like, 'What's it like to kiss a vampire?' and 'How much do you love Robert?' Then you'll get one that's actually real, but you're like, 'No, I can't right now, I can't even consider [it]."
Bullshit questions? Most of you fans are under the age of 18. What do you expect?
On Boyfriend Michael Angarano: "He's older than me, he's 20 now, but when you're 13 and he's turning 16, it was always sort of an out-of-reach thing. Then you get a little older, and you realize, 'Oh, What the fuck am I thinking? I can have you, like, lickity.. He's awesome."
On not dating Rob Pattinson: "It's just totally false.. Rob and I are good friends. We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him. It's like, I know this guy really fucking well [laughs]. It's only natural that we're sort of leaning on each other, because we're put in the most fucking psychotic situations."
Umm okay? You can cut the swearing and stop referring to everything as a "psychotic situation".
Part 2 next...

WTF! >:(
WTF! WHY? WHY? WHY? COULDN'T YOU PICK SOMEONE ACTUALLY WORTH BEING ON THE COVER? OMFG. Sorry for the caps. As you may know (or not) I HATE HATE HATE Kristen Stewart. I have a burning hatred for her. You don't even understand. There are numerous reasons why I hate her butI'll talk about that another day. Here she is pictured on the fricken cover of Seventeen Spain. Thank god it isn't Seventeen USA. I would be really pissed if it was. Little known fact: I've purchased every issue of Seventeen Magazine since August 2007 when Lauren Conrad was on the cover. I still have every single copy and they're all in tact. I was really pissed when she got Teen Vogue. Why do people keep putting her on the covers of their magazines? Now I don't want to swear on here just incase my parents see but...

Guess the celeb!
Why it's non other than Demi Lovato at the Jonas Brothers 3D movie premiere! No, you aren't dreaming. It really is her. I saw this on OceanUp and I was like "Who the eff is that?". I look a little closer and I realized it's Demi. Hmmm....I like her a lot better without the tan. I don't know know about this "new" look. In pure cheesey-ness: "If it ain't broken, don't fix it". Don't get me wrong she still looks great and all but it's just really weird. If it's a spray on tan or if she actually went tanning then I think it's a total mistake. On the other hand, if she went to the beach or somewhere sunny and got a tan then that's a different story...
Speaking of JB 3D...I'm going to see the movie this friday. I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of JB but Taylor Swift + Demi are in it which is incentive enough to make me want to watch it.

My take on the Oscars! Part 2
Continuation of part one....

-Mickey Rourke (in Jean Paul Gaultier) that is just not working for me. Honestly, does he look good in anything?
-Beyonce (in House of Dereon), I give you props on accentuating your curves but the print on that dress is ugly. It looks like some kind of expensive part of a couch or curtain.
-Tilda Swinton (in Lanvin), What you wore last year was a complete miss and I'm sorry to say but you've done it again. The dress is so...What's the word...Blah?!?
-Jessica Biel (in Prada), I don't even know what to say. I liked it at first but after seeing it again I can't help but hate it. It really does look like a napkin or a bib in front of your dress.

Pictured: Marisa Tomei (in Atelier Versace), Miley Cyrus (in Zuhair Murad), and Sarah Jessica Parker (in Christian Dior Haute Couture). Oh and I don't know why this particular picture isn't clickable so you can enlarge it.
-Loved all three of these. Reminds me of a fairy tale/princess-y type dress. Very flowy and sparkly. So pretty!
THE BEST FOR LAST
Now this is the BEST picture/moment of the night. My favorite people and a half (the half being Robert Pattinson because I don't competely love him) together having a conversation. Crazy...
Epic Night.

My take on the Oscars! Part 1
As promised, here is my take on last night's Academy Awards. Sorry it's late.
How great was Hugh Jackman as a host? I was skeptical at first but he had me after the opening number. Well done! Also some memorable highlights:
- When Tina Fey and Steve Martin were presenting. Hilarious!
- Ben Stiller imitating Joaquin Phoenix. Hilarious again!
- Hugh Jackman, Beyonce, Zanessa, Amanda Seyfriend, and Dominic Cooper's performance. Vanessa sounded great!
- Slumdog Millionaire winning 8 awards including best picture.
- Dustin Lance Black's acceptance speech for Milk.
- Kate Winslet winning best actress.
- Heath Ledger winning best supporting actor. Not a dry eye in the house!
- Akward moments involving Brangelina and Jennifer Aniston.
And of course I have to cover the style winners and losers:
THE GOOD

-Okay I hate to admit it but Robert Pattinson was looking very good. Very very good actually. Kind of took me off guard. He looks a lot better than his usual drunken self. Amazing what a shower and a suit can do to a person. He sounded nervous while presenting and looked bored when you could see him sitting behind Mickey Rourke. And was it just me but did he look a lot like his character Edward Cullen? Kind of scary. I swear it had to do with the eyes.Posted by Araceli at 5:26 PM 2 comments

81st Academy Awards!
I know it's late and I should be in bed (which I'll probably pay for tomorrow, i.e. falling asleep in class) but I just had to take a minute to talk about the Oscars. How great were the Oscars? I loved it! Much better than last years. Everyone one looked great which the expection of few (Ahem, Mickey Rourke). Just a few points I though I should cover.
- SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE FTW!...Totally surprised at how they won practically every award. Congrats to all of them!
- Robert Pattinson actually looked good tonight. He looked a lot different than his usual drunken self. Resembled more of Edward Cullen for once rather than an alcoholic. He cleans up well when he takes a shower and puts on a suit. Shocker!
- Zanessa=L-O-V-E! My favorite couple in the world looked stunning. I do admit it was a bit random that they were there but whatever. Zac looked great and Vanessa was gorgeous as usual. Her Marchesa dress was so-so but its starting to grow on me as I see it more and more. I don't care what anyone says, I love her. The performance was great too. Even if they only sang for like 10 seconds.
- WTF was Miley Cyrus doing there? I mean come on! She wasn't even performing or presenting. I did like her dress though. I shouldn't complain. At least the Jonas Brothers weren't there. I'd have a hissy fit if they were. Actually they were on the Barbara Walters special after. Ugh.
I'm gonna go crash now. More coverage tomorrow!

Celeb fix of the day: OMFG Michael Angarano + Taylor Momsen!
In New Moon news... An insider stated to OK! Magazine: "Her boyfriend (Michael Angarano)will come to visit her (Kristen Stewart) on set." OMFG ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! I could be this close to Michael Angarano?!?! He's coming HERE to Vancouver to see Kristen Stewart! I think I just about died. If any of the celebrity stalking skills I've learned over the past couple of years in High School they will be put to the test very very soon. March to be exact. I would probably faint if I ever got the chance to meet Michael Angarano, and probably die if I ever met Taylor Lautner...One second thought, meeting anyone part of the cast of New Moon would be good enough for me. Although, I'd be too star struck to talk which I would eventually beat myself up for later. Can't wait!
Aww he's so cute! Damn you Kristen Stewart.
---------------------------
GG star Taylor Momsen attended the Anna Sui Fall 2009 RTW fashion show during Fashion Week in NYC yesterday. The girl sure knows how to dress. Love the ankle boots and the leather jacket gives the dress a nice edge. I do wish she would lay off the eye make-up at least once in a while.

Celeb fix of the day: Taylor Swift! Yay!

The lovely and extremely talented Taylor Swift graces the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine's March issue. She's seriously like my favorite person right now. She's such a talented songwriter and fame hasn't seem to have gotten to her head (which I respect). I'm not too crazy about the cover but the rest of the pictures are amazing. A wind machine can make anyone look great.
Taylro was also recently at the 2009 Brit Awards where she sported a beautiful dress by Kaufman Franco. She topped it off with a pair of gold Loubs, a Judith Leiber clutch, and David Yurman silver hoops with pavé diamonds (Outfit info credit to JustJared). That dress is so glamorous! I love it. It reminds me of broken shards of a mirror (They're really stone sequins btw). I approve! :)
